Race Against Domestic Violence 5K 2008 Review
Review by Louis Tomsic Connie Comiso is the race director for the Race Against Domestic Violence 5K. Her efforts this year attracted over 200 runners to Manoa Valley Recreation Center in an effort to raise money for a good cause. The race runs a clockwise loop around a slightly hilly Manoa Valley. This race event is one of the best for refreshments afterward because there is much food to choose from. Awards were given out by the Honolulu Police Department.Five year age division winners won free tickets and other awards instead of trophies. There were several large prize drawings too. I recommend this race because of the location and the atmosphere after the race.
